Celebrity Weddings

If I had enough dough I definitely would get inspiration from these celebrity weddings... from gowns to the venue, even to the giveaways, it screams celeb status!

Let me share to you most recent celebrity weddings I love. And it's not just because of the lavishness of the event, but because I love the stars as well...

Jordan Bratman and Christina Aguilera
No surprise that a pop star would marry a music exec. Christina Aguilera married Jordan Bratman chose the Staglin Family Vineyards in Rutherford, California for their Spanish-inspired reception. Yeah, she may be a pop tart but I do like her. Her gown was by Christian Lacroix. It was reported that their wedding cost $2M!!!

John Cusimano and Rachel Ray
As far as destination weddings go, Italy is on the top of my list. I just love the rustic scenery. One of my favorite Lifestyle channel hosts, Rachel Ray, being Italian and all, chose a castle in Montalcino, Italy for their wedding. She wore an Alicia Mughetti gown. Oh, they had an African Safari honeymoon... one thing on my wishlist too!

Tom Mahoney and Marcia Cross
Marcia Cross didn't look like a desparate housewife when she wed Tom Mahoney. She really looked like a glowing bride in her Reem Acra gown. They wed in an episcopal church in California followed by a reception in Ritz-Carlton in Pasadena. Glamorous!

Deryck Whibley and Avril Lavigne
It's really shocking seeing Avril without her rocker-chick outfit. She looked divine in her Vera Wang wedding dress. When two rock stars meet (Deryck is lead singer for Sum 41). They has a garden wedding in a private estate in California. But not forgetting their rocker nature.. they gave away guitar picks to their guests with their names on it. Now THAT is unique!

Tony Parker and Eva Longoria
Another desperate housewife gets hitched! Eva Longoria wed her handsome baketball star boyfriend, Tony Parker. She wore an Angel Sanchez gown during the church ceremony, a day after they civilly wed in Paris, France (Tony Parker is after all French). They got married in Saint-Germain-l'Auxerrois Church and the reception was held at Vaux-le-Vicomte, a 17th century chateau. Would love to be a guest in their wedding coz all the ladies were given bracelets from Van Cleef & Arpels' Sweet Alhambra range. Argh!
